1. Our Commitment to Zero Data Retention
Unlike standard SaaS cloud services, PDFSaaS enforces a strict client-side sandboxing mechanism. This means that your target PDF, JPG, Docx, or spreadsheet files are parsed and manipulated in standard volatile RAM buffers inside your local browser. No files are ever uploaded, processed, or cached on our cloud storage buckets, completely eliminating the danger of data breaches, subpoena exposures, or secondary profiling vectors.
2. What Analytics We Collect
We collect anonymous, high-level structural telemetry about site usage (such as pages clicked, features opened, and checkout steps completed) to optimize page loading speeds and design layout flows. This structural logging does not tie to individual users and never includes file names, page counts, or file contents.
3. Cookies and Persistent Storage
We utilize local cookies and the standard client-side `localStorage` API to save your active user configuration, theme settings, history log, and auth session token. This allows you to log back in and resume work seamlessly without data sync friction.
4. Data Subject Rights (GDPR & HIPAA)
Since your document materials never hit our infrastructure, you retain absolute sovereign rights over your files. You can clear your active history items inside the PDFSaaS History workspace or purge your local browser cache at any time to remove all traces of processed metadata completely.
5. Security Shield Certifications
All payment details, sub-tier transactions, and billing communications are encrypted via secure SSL (TLS 1.3) pipelines with high-grade banking standards.
